At Family Help Inc., our commitment to supporting families and individuals in need extends beyond providing transitional housing. We engage in various projects and community initiatives aimed at enhancing the quality of life for our residents and strengthening the community as a whole. Our recent efforts include community events, home upgrades, and collaborations with local businesses, all designed to empower our residents and foster a supportive environment.
Family Help Inc recently benefited from a Rotary District Grant that funded crucial facility upgrades, including the installation of storm doors, new vinyl flooring, and ashphalt paving for the exterior grounds. These improvements have enhanced both the safety and functionality of the space for families in need.
A successful community collaboration made these upgrades possible, with the Rotarians from the Southern New Castle Country Rotary Club, Delaware City Satellite Club, Middletown Area Chamber of Commerce, and local businesses such as MOT Family Chiropractic, Bright Home Delaware, Jackson Lodge 19, 222 Property Management and Bevans Home Improvement all contributing to the effort.
The project was celebrated at a Coffee with the Chamber event hosted by the MOT Rotary Club at the MACC. The event highlighted the impact of the Rotary District Grant and showcased the work done by Rotarians and local businesses to improve Family Help Inc’s housing units.
Since then, Family Help Inc has joined the Middletown Area Chamber of Commerce and is planning an early summer event to further celebrate the community collaboration.
